I watched the first fiew minutes of this mans interview. I have to tell you that I can not trust this mans words when it comes to trying to 'figure' out how God works or is going to work based on the past experiences especially on revivals. Does he have good insight? Yes. Is he a humble man? Yes. But here is the thing that I recognise. He is communicating out of hurt whenever he talks about revivals. I do not know everything that has happenned to him out of the past or even what kind of experiences he has had, but the one thing I can see plainly is hurt. How can I say this? Just a bit over a year ago I was hurt by my bretheren. It was a group I participated with day in and day out. I got booted out because of jealousies. I was in some serious pain. A lot of times hurt just points back to something earlier in life and we make descisions that almost seem involontary because of past pains. Ive been there and done this and so have about 90% of the world. This is what this man is doing. Yesterday I had an encounter with Jesus Christ again and He took the hurts away from some of these past things that shape my descision making. Now there is still truth from people who are hurt, but the view on certain things is still wrong. See when I watched this video, one of the first things that I saw go wrong is in always comparing to the past when it comes to the Holy Spirit. 2nd, he started to talk about emotions and supposed people trying to surpress them for the purpose of bringing about a 'proper' revival. Say what????? Stop a revival because of emotions???? Brothers this kind of advice sounds a bit stupid. Since when is a human being not an emotional creature? God hurts, so do we. God smiles so do we. God laughs so do we. We were made in His image but yet we try to surpress what God uses to bring us to repentance and healing and salvation? After all out of the heart the mouth speeks.... or even cries. The heart is an emotional being. If we spend our time trying to 'prove' something as being false, can we then turn around and give the real deal afterwards to verify that what we were saying is true? The proof is in the pudding. See when this man spoke about 'manifestations' he is refering to his desire to see a quiet tranquil revival that matches his personality and acts like as if that is a display of the fruit of the spirit. Come on. Was the day of pentacost a quiet tranqual day where people just came in sat down didnt say a word, had no emotions because they were surpressing them, and just prayed quietly in repentance? No way! It was a day where the public thought the apostles were actually drunk! People came to repentance because of the power of the Holy Spirit on full display in all of His Glory, not because of the actions of man. However we need to sit and think here....the actions of men must have been pretty wild for people to think they were drunk. This man needs to recover from his hurt. He actually needs to repent from being hurt....as I did yesterday. When our anger or hurt goes way beyond or way bigger than the event that actually took place, it becomes a sin. Yesterday I realised this. This is what has happenned to this man. He has alowed his hurt to dictate the views he puts forth and actually leads others astray when it comes to the revival process. Some may dissagree with this and that is fine. However I am saying this because I was in an event where revival was breaking out hard and Gods glory was on full display as in the day of pentacost and I was eventually turned on and tossed like a bad habbit. Were those wrong who booted me? Sure they were. But guess what? Revival continued to still go on even though I was not there even though I desperately wanted to be. God didnt care about my sulking in the corner and being the 'victim'. Was I a victim? Sure I was. I was in very much pain. Did God care about the affects on my heart? Sure He did. But when the victim mentality took over it became a sin and it leads to more sin. I love this man who did this video, but the one thing I will say is That God will bring revival whether he is on board or not and in the way He wants, not the way we 'think' it should happen. He can continue to educate people in his revival school and so on and that is fine. But stop communicating on certain subjects through the eyes of a victim. Its tainted and tainting others against the power of the Holy Spirit to act as He needs to do in some peoples lives as He did in mine. Fruit of the Spirit is not tranquility! Its not a quiet mind. Its not just sitting back 'respecting in reverence'. It can still be God right up in your face just as the day of pentacost. Yesterday was a quiet day with the Lord and He showed up personally. But you know, thats against about 90% of how He has shown up the rest of the times in my life. Will I say that it was not Him because it doesnt match what He has done in the past? I would be stupid to do so and try to justify denial of His manifest presence because it may not have matched up with past experiences. I look at it this way, I will take whatever He gives me and however He wants to show up even if He has to embaress me to do so just to humiliate me and change my dead thinking. So brothers, I am not communicating out of anger here. Personally I think what this man thinks about revival is dead thinking and is not lead by God. Others have a right to dissagree with me here. I am an emotional creature as I was born this way and I hope it never changes. God uses these emotions to bring revival in others. All I need for a revival school is the revival school of the Holy Spirit Himself. When God shows up revival automatically happens. Some will be ready, some wont. I thank the Lord He put dynamite in my box I kept Him in long ago.
