Hey Mark thanks for posting the bugman preachers messages. Just wanted to let you know what seems to be good stuff. I especially get sick & tired of reading far out prophecies, especially when they turn out to be wrong. I don't think there are many true prophets in the world today. In fact anyone who claims to be a prophet just about sends up a red flag for me. Of course I know that God can give a word of prophecy to any of his true believers if he chooses to. I look at David Wilkerson as a pastor who has received some visions throughout the years, and yet receives word from the Lord. As far as I know, the man is genuine. The first thing I test is their statement of faith or what they teach, as to whether it lines up with God's word. I think most of us know that things are getting worse in the world, including America.

I've studied a little church history, and it seems that in the 1800's the Methodist church was really on fire. But then their fire started to die down. In the early 1900's the Pentecostal movement ignited, and many revivals broke out. Then about half way through the century (around 1950) it seems that there was a gradual decline in the church as a whole, and the decline remains to this day. It seems that the world has mixed in with the church. In recent years there has been a charismatic movement trying to re light the fire, but with many problems. Some of the old churches have become dead, and others have evolved into lukewarmness. However there have been a number of true genuine believers spread out in different places. The only way to keep up with what's going on is to keep your head in the truth (the Bible), and your heart in contact with God through prayer.

Hey Stephen, checked out that link you gave and it was pretty good. Thanks.

I personally believe that there are no signs or conditions that must be met before the rapture occurs. The second coming when Jesus returns to earth and sets up his kingdom, yes there are signs and things that must happen, such as the tribulation. That lady that predicted the rapture in 2007 due to a dream she had, still thinks that God sends a warning or notice before it occurs. I don't think so and see it no where in the word. When it happens, it will happen without notice. That could be at any moment, and we are told to be ready at all times. The warnings have all ready been given. God gives no one a set date, and I don't think anyone can calculate or figure out any Bible code as to the exact time (day, hour, year, ect.) Don't fall for that date setting stuff brothers & sisters.

Sorry if I got off on what this post was originally about. King David was indeed a great man. I think that was the glory years of Israel when he reigned. He also showed us how the depravity can slip in if we don't watch it. Sin can be like a trap. But it also shows that God is fair and even merciful to a repentant heart. God knows the heart well. God bless.
